Would you drive a 1,200HP Ford Mustang?

Lets first start with this question : Have you heard of the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500?

No, not yet? Well here are some quick figures.

The Shelby GT500 will be the most powerful street-legal car in Ford’s history. Under the hood is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces 760HP and 625 lb-ft of torque and will cost approximately $74,000usd.

0-62 mph is approximately 3.5 seconds, do the quarter-mile in less than 11 seconds, and hit a limited top speed of 180 mph, not bad for a Mustang. Ford also recently confirmed the 2020 GT500 will do 0-100mph and back to 0mph in just 10.6 seconds. It already deliveries supercar performance, but Texas tuner Hennessey felt that those numbers weren’t enough.

Hennessey has come out with 3 levels of performance upgrade for the GT500. The entry-level Venom 850 package will increase the output to 850 hp and 725 lb-ft torque when running on 93 octane Shell V-Power fuel.  If you’re feeling a little more courageous theres the Venom 1000 package, which will give the GT500 1,000 hp and 850 lb-ft torque enough to shred plenty of tires.  But if thats still too elementary for you and have huge cajones, Hennessey will be more than happy to give you the Venom 1200 package. This package will give you 1,200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 1,000 lb-ft torque at 4,800 rpm, all accessible with a tap of your right foot.

Visually the GT500 is pretty much untouched except for emblems, embroidered headrests, and a numbered plaque signed by John Hennessey on the dashboard. The winged and vented GT500 isn't low-key at all or the stock carbon fiber wheels.

This car is pure business from the factory and Hennessey made it even crazier.
