The Ford Mustang Mach E 1400 was "officially introduced" and no better way of showing the world what this electric mustang crossover is like than by having it burn some tires.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 is ridiculous. This example packs seven electric motors making 1,400 horsepower (1,011 kilowatts) and a 56.8-kilowatt-hour battery. The modified body is capable of making over 2,300 pounds (1,043 kilograms) at 160 miles per hour (258 kilometers per hour). This beast of a car in the photos and video is obviously a one-off but it just goes to show you how the future could look and sound.
Now, for obvious reasons the production model will most likely have a lot less punch to it. But it's awesome to see that motorsports in the electric era may not be so bad after all.
