With the spread COVID-19 spreading very quickly, cancellation and postponement of numerous events seemed imminent. And now one of the most prestigious event in all of motorsports has been officially cancelled. For the first time since 1954, Formula 1 will not be hosted in the Principality of Monaco as a result of the disease.
The news comes after Prince Albert, the reigning monarch of Monaco, tested positive for COVID-19.
Its terrible how all of these events that entertain us throughout the calendar year might all be cancelled for 2020, but if thats what it takes to flatten the curve everyone is referring to so be it.
