The 700-HP Aston Martin V12 Speedster With No Roof & No Windshield.
With the Geneva Motor Show being cancelled, manufacturers have gone to social media with videos and live sessions to announce the cars they planned on unveiling at Geneva. And with a somewhat awkward video Aston Martin announced the badass V12 Speedster.
Only 88 Speedsters will be produced and price will approximately $950,000USD.
This V12 Speedster is inspired by Aston Martin's racing history such as the LeMans winning DBR1 and their CC100 Speedster Concept from 2013.
Powering the V12 Speedster is Aston Martin’s scintillating 5.2-liter, Twin-Turbo V12 engine, with a peak output of 700hp & 753Nm of torque. Front mid-mounted, the all alloy, quad cam 48-valve engine is mated to a ZF 8-Speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential driving the rear wheels. The V12 Speedster is able to accelerate to 100km/h in 3.5 seconds and with a limited top speed of 300km/h.
With top speeds like that, your bound to have tons of bugs in your face if you still have a face by then. Either way, the V12 Speedster from Aston Martin will probably be the cheapest of the "speedster" to come as Ferrari and McLaren will follow suit in a next couple of years.
